Finance Committee meetings called tomorrow and Wednesday

Councilperson Chuck Barlow, Chair of City Council’s Finance and Audit Committee, has called two meetings, both with the single agenda item “2008 Appropriations.”

1. Tuesday, March 18 at 5:00 p.m.
2. Wednesday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. or immediately following the Community Development meeting

Both meetings will be held in Council Chambers. Ward 2 Councilperson Steve Thornbury has asked NCT to tape both meetings for broadcast on Government Access Channel 4. We’ll post an update when we know whether or not the meetings will be broadcast.

9:45 a.m., 3/18/08 UPDATE: NCT has informed Mr. Thornbury that today's 5:00 p.m. meeting will be videotaped for replays on Channel 4. We applaud Mr. Thornbury for taking the initiative to get the meeting aired.
