2010 Norwood Day Parade

The Norwood Day Parade, sponsored by the Norwood Chamber of Commerce, is a long-standing tradition in the Norwood community. This year will mark the 118th annual parade! The theme for this year's parade is "Norwood: The Shining Star" and we will have as our Grand Marshals, Vicki and Andrew Clark, Co-Editors of the Norwood Star. The Norwood Chamber selected the Clarks to recognize them for their 1 year anniversary of the publication of Norwood's neighborhood newspaper, Norwood Star.

If you have an organization or non-profit group that would like to participate in the parade, you can download a form by clicking here. There is no cost for non-profit groups to participate. There is a charge of $50 for political candidates within Norwood, $100 for political candidates outside of Norwood, $100 for businesses who are not chamber members. (The entry fee is waived to Norwood Chamber members.)

Trophies are given out in several categories and 2 cash prizes of $500 and $250 are given out for the 1st and 2nd place floats.

The Norwood Chamber is offering businesses an opportunity to participate in a parade sponsorship program. This is an excellent way to show your community support as well as to advertise to thousands of people in our area with your name on a banner in the parade that is included with your sponsorship. The sponsorship program consists of 4 different levels: $100 silver sponsor, $250 golf sponsor; $500 diamond sponsor and $1000 platinum sponsor. Click here to download a sponsorship form.
