Mad Science coming to Norwood August 7
Guest blog by Joyce McDowell
The Mad Cap Puppet Show on July 9th was great success with about 220 people attending with many bringing a nonperishable food donations that were given to the Norwood food pantry.
Our next community event is a free Mad Science Event which will take place on Saturday, August 7th at the Norwood Church of the Nazarene at the corner of Smith and Edward's Roads. The Mad Science portion of the day will be provided by the Caleb Tate Fuller Foundation at 9:00 a.m., and this will be followed at 10:00 a.m. by the Back to School Bash where children can come and pick out a free back pack and play carnival games where school supplies are given as prizes. Everyone is invited. This may be a good way for some of the local families to get free supplies.
