Terry Disney named “Hall of Fame” Big Sister

Norwood resident Terry Disney has been chosen as a “Hall of Fame” Big Sister for her role in mentoring three tri-state children over the past 24 years. She is a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati and was honored at the agency’s annual celebration of volunteers. Terry is currently matched with “Little Sister” Shawnesha, who recently graduated from high school and is getting ready to attend Cincinnati State, studying Early Childhood Education.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati is always in need of caring adults willing to spend time with children in the community who can benefit from that friendship. 400 tri-state children are on the waiting list right now.
