Students, parents support renewal of NCS Athletic Director’s contract

The Kypost.com piece records comments of support made for Norwood City Schools' Athletic Director Jason Testerman outside the board room during last night’s BOE monthly meeting. The article states, “Close friends to Testerman say he's been told after this academic year, his contract as athletic director will not be renewed.” Although the matter was not on meeting agenda, two of the attendees, NHS graduate LeeEtta Shepherd and parent Valerie Marksbury spoke to the reporter about their high regard for Mr. Testerman. According to Ms. Markbury, "Jason has battled stage three Melanoma cancer and he has worked many a day after chemo treatments.” Superintendent Amodio says he cannot comment on staff members, which Mr. Testerman’s friends say is not what they were hoping for.
