Locals DebiO and Tom White performing in The Big Show XVI

Make your reservations now

Many Norwoodians have known for a long time about resident Tom White’s double life - his day job as head of our Public Works Department plus his gigs playing bass and singing vocals with his band Dejavu. But we didn’t know about DebiO’s multiple lives until we got an email last week telling us she’s been a vocalist with The Avenues for the past seven years. (We need to get out more.) We just found out the beautiful DebiO, her stage name, also has lives as Councilperson Victor Schneider’s wife/better half and mother to their children. Honestly, isn't Norwood just teeming with talented artists, actors, and musicians?

You can catch both DebiO and Tom White performing with their respective bands this Saturday at The Big Show XVI at Jim and Jack’s on The River, but make your reservation now to get a good table. It’s not a battle of the bands, but more of a showcase of talent; and we’re told Debi and Tom would really like to see some friendly faces from the ‘wood in the audience. There’ll be a total of 5 bands performing with DeJaVu probably playing no earlier than 9:00 p.m. and The Avenues around 10:30 p.m.
