Sgt. Robert Bales, accused in Afghan killings, grew up in Norwood

Yesterday’s Enquirer article about Norwood native Robert Bales, accused of killing 16 Afghan civilians, included interviews with locals who knew him when he and his family lived on Ivanhoe. The profile that emerges from their descriptions of him is certainly at odds with the atrocious acts he is accused of committing against Afghan civilians during his 4th tour of duty.
