Norwood awarded over $2M to clean up American Laundry site

According to this Channel 12 report, Ohio has awarded the City nearly $2.5 million to redevelop and clean up soil at the American Laundry site on Section Road. Mayor Williams said plans to redevelop the site can now move forward. "With these funds to clean up these older industrial sites, we can now move in and diversify and have medical, and engineering firms and all kinds of different services coming in." Included in the plans for Central Pointe on the Lateral is a 50,000-square-foot medical office building.
