SPCA’s Pet ID Day offers big savings on rabies shots, microchips

Casey Brown tipped us off to some big savings at SPCA Cincinnati’s Pet ID day event tomorrow, December 5 at their Sharonville location at 11900 Conrey Rd. For one day only, SPCA is offering free rabies shots for dogs with the purchase of $19.75 Hamilton County Dog Licenses, free rabies for cats (registration of cats not required, but please make a small donation to defray the cost), and discounted microchip implantations and registrations for one cat or dog for only $15, a savings of over $60. Click here for more details.

ADDENDUM: Here’s another pet event Casey told us about: UCAN (United Coalition for Animals) at 1230 W. 8th Street in Queensgate is having a Holiday Open House from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday, December 6 to celebrate their 20,000th surgery. The organization’s mission is to end pet overpopulation through sterilization. Sunday’s event will feature professional pet and people photos with Santa, custom pet ID engraving while you wait, refreshments, raffles, and more.
