X.U. campus cop hit by SUV fleeing Norwood police

According to the Enquirer, a Xavier campus police officer sitting in an unmarked car was struck by a sport utility vehicle fleeing the Norwood police at about 4:00 a.m. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with a minor injury and is expected to recover. The chase started in Norwood, and then the vehicles traveled near the Cintas Center onto Herald Avenue near a residence hall where the campus police officer’s car was struck. Norwood police were too busy to give the Enquirer more details, so it isn’t known yet whether or not the SUV was apprehended. We will try to find that out this morning.
