Friday swimming at Waterworks Pool canceled

Kathy Hammond tells us the Recreation Commissioners decided at their Wednesday night meeting to close Waterworks Pool both today and next Friday, August 28 because of football games that may result in heavy traffic/parking congestion in the area. Only these two days are affected, and the pool will be open the rest of both weekends with the last day being Sunday, August 30. Norwood Rec apologizes for any inconvenience.
