NFD is drop-off site for donations to benefit NSL

Lupe Gonzales Hoyt sent us the following announcement encouraging everyone to make small donations on August 26 either at the Riverbend Music Center concert or at the Norwood Fire Department on Montgomery Road:

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire will be performing at Riverbend Music Center, Wednesday, August 26. As part of their 30-city national tour, these musical legends are joining in the fight against hunger. Fans may contribute $3 or 3 non-perishable food in return for three coupons to download three new songs. Norwood Service League and the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks will benefit from this effort. Members of the Norwood Fire Dept. are volunteering at this concert to collect donations of food and dollars, and have offered to make the NFD firehouse a drop-off site for food to Norwood residents and businesses on August 26 only. Look for the barrels with the blue/white NSL logo!
