The Business Courier is reporting that Gold Star Chili has closed its Edwards Road & Williams Ave. location to make way for Mercy Health System’s new $20 million medical office building. Gold Star CEO Mike Rohrkemper says the company is “actively engaged in seeking a high-profile location within three to five miles of the closed Smith-Edwards restaurant.” According to the Biz Courier, the new location might be closer to the Xavier campus.
