Gary Arthur elected to board of directors of state association

Following is Norwood Health Commissioner Pamela Walker-Bauer’s announcement of Gary Arthur’s recent election to the Ohio Association of Boards of Health Board of Directors:

I am very excited to share this news. Gary Arthur, President Pro-Tempore of the Norwood Board of Health, was just elected to the Ohio Association of Boards of Health (OABH) Board of Directors. OABH is a professional organization of local board of health members throughout Ohio. The mission of OABH is to offer opportunties for education and information exchange to board of health members to insure the health and safety of their communities. OABH is affiliated with the National Association of Local Boards of Health (NALBOH.)

Mr. Arthur has served as a member of the Norwood Board of Health since 2006. His experience as a board member from a small health department will be invaluable in insuring that the unique public health needs of communities like Norwood will be met. I am thrilled that the City of Norwood, the Norwood Board of Health and the Norwood Health Department will be represented at the state level through this opportunity. Congratulations Gary!
