Construction on $20M urology clinic starts today

When the Urology Group’s new 55,000-square-foot facility on Joseph E. Sanker Blvd. is complete on Sept. 1, 2012, it will be one of the largest independently-owned and operated urologic centers in the nation, according to Dr. Gary Kirsh, president of the group. The practice has more than 30 physicians and annually performs 13,000 outpatient surgeries a year at its current 38,000 square-foot location at Norwood’s Central Parke complex. The new facility will have 8 operating rooms and will allow for 8 to 12 percent growth in business and staffing.
