Free Gardening Workshops, UDF Ice Cream Hoe-down this Saturday

Lupe Gonzales-Hoyt sent this invitation for our readers to come to two community wide events this Saturday:


You are invited to attend, and bring friends, to the Norwood Community Garden at Linden Pointe for the "Gardening Workshops" this Saturday, August 8, beginning at 9:30 AM. Whether you have a garden plot on our site or one in your backyard, you will enjoy learning about composting, fall planting, and container gardening. Presenters will be Peter Huttinger- Civic Garden Center, Brad Rogers-Urban Harvest, and Mary Kramer-Cincinnati Horticulture Society (to be confirmed).

A "UDF Ice Cream 'Hoe'-down" will follow at 11:00, and a presentation will be made to members of the Norwood Do Right! Walking Club. A special Thank You! to friends at United Dairy Farmers for their donation.
