Mayor Williams: “We’re keeping our head above water.”
Today’s Enquirer has this article, “Small projects keep Norwood afloat,” detailing the $25 million in commercial construction and rehab projects that are taking the sting out of the losses of U.S. Playing Card’s 460 employees later this year and Medpace’s 350 employees in 2013. Mayor Tom Williams told the Enquirer, “We’re not stagnant. Construction just keeps moving.” We thought so, but it’s reassuring in a bad economy to see it all laid out in black and white.
