116th Norwood Day Parade scheduled for July 22

The Norwood Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of the annual Norwood Day Parade, has chosen “Norwood: Gateway to the Future” as the theme for this year’s event. The parade will get underway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. The deadline for submitting the entry fee and application to appear in the parade is Monday, June 30. “The Norwood Business and Professional Women's Club would like to invite everyone to Norwood Day on Wednesday, July 23, at Coney Island. You'll be seeing posters and other publicity around town soon, but please save this date for a great day with your family at Coney Island at a special rate of $17 for those age 4 and up, $4 for kids 2-3 and free to infants under 2. We'll also have our annual Baby Show, bingo, the combination raffle with great prizes, and corn hole and horseshoes. All proceeds benefit our scholarship fund, which each year helps two girls graduating from Norwood High School.”
